Steve Stevens Signature Overdrive
Developed especially for the Duke of Darkness himself, the J. Rockett Audio Designs Rockaway Archer re-creates the magic of a mythological overdrive pedal from the 1990s but ups the ante with a built-in 6-band EQ. Like its inspiration, the Rockaway Archer offers an extreme range of sounds, from clean boost all the way to a heavy distortion that blends seamlessly with the tone of every amp we tried it with here at Sweetwater. The Rockaway Archer falls into the “transparent overdrive” category — if you set it the right way, you can dial in a healthy amount of gain without significantly altering the tone of your guitar. The J. RAD Rockaway Archer — it’s a staple on Steve Stevens’s pedalboard, and it belongs on yours.
