Timbre matching, modular mounting, and more
The eye-grabbing form factor of the Polk Audio Reserve R900 isn’t merely a subtle yet striking choice of aesthetics — it explicitly allows these speakers to be enjoyed in two distinct configurations: wall-mounted and paired. While the former option is always available to elevate your space, the latter was designed specifically for use with Polk Audio Reserve series tower speakers, meticulously tuned via timbral matching, ensuring your Reserve-fueled setup consistently delivers detailed playback without compromising customization.
3D audio and cinema-grade sonics arrive
With such versatile playback compatibility, Polk Audio spared no effort in designing the Reserve R900 height module to preserve every nuance of your listening experience, with exacting spatial accuracy. While plenty of under-the-hood sonic innovation makes this possible, the physical construction and design of the R900 are critical to this detailed playback transparency, including the anti-diffraction grille, crafted with an acoustically inert material that supplies sleek visuals without coloring your sound. What’s more, the Reserve R900 is built for use with more than just Dolby Atmos and DTS:X systems, as these speakers are certified for use with Hi-Res Audio, as well as multiple 3D-audio options, such as DTS, DTS Virtual X, Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization, and IMAX Enhanced formats. Moreover, built-in Auro-3D technology utilizes the state-of-the-art Auro-Matic up-mixing engine to supercharge your immersive listening, placing you in the center of your favorite tracks, video games, films, and more.
State-of-the-art sonic technologies
As an essential aspect of enhancing your immersive sound system, the Polk Audio Reserve R900 speakers are teeming with cutting-edge playback technologies. The center of the speaker’s sonic constellation is Polk Audio’s flagship Pinnacle Ring Radiator tweeter. Polk Audio developed this tweeter with an ultra-pointed profile that’s been meticulously engineered to disperse high-frequency sounds throughout your space, with exacting precision, widening the sweet spot and expanding your options for how you arrange your space without missing a beat.
The 4-inch Turbine Cone woofer is endowed with Polk Audio’s innovative cone, designed to amplify rigidity without adding mass. This blueprint results in a woofer that’s exceptionally accurate, able to move at higher speeds, and reproduce the full depth of your audio with prismatic presence. And since the Reserve R900 is built with a fully sealed enclosure, clarity and precision abound throughout the spectrum — no distortion from turbulence or airborne disruptions!
