Nifty little pedal

Thanks EHX for creating this little tone box. I love using it to create totally random synthesizer bits, as a rhythmic background on otherwise boring loops. I am using it in conjunction with the EHX 8 step program, to control the number of steps and beat of the output of the RTG,a nd loving the results. Cheers!!!

Sweet little noise-generator!

This is a cool little product, the tones sound nice and clear. So far I've used it with my KORG monotron and my MXR phase 90, as well as just a classic Dunlop Crybaby and all combinations made for very cool spacy/sci-fi sounds. At the slowest rate, the tones are long, dry and drawn out, speed it up for some bleepy r2d2-ish effect and throw the portamento switch to create some very harsh metallic chirping sounds. overall its a nice little unit to add to any rig for the more abstract music performer.

It's not random

This "pedal" is not a random tone generator. I let it run for 4 minutes and was able to easily discern a repetitive loop. If it's not random, why bother? Your just buying a pedal that sends out a 2 minute or so loop of beeps and bloops then repeates

False Advertising. Not Random.

The RTG is not Random. It seems random at first and then it hits you: the pattern. The loop. After that you can't unhear it. This pedal was great for about two minutes. Now I see it as a total waste of money. Don't buy this thing if you actually want a "Random" tone generator.
