A “Flame Thrower” of Exquisite Tone
Judas Priest guitarist and longtime active pickup advocate Richie Faulkner has long relied on his EMGs for his arena-sized hard-rock tones. After more than a decade with the legendary band fronted by the Metal God himself, Richie has earned his place in the pantheon of the metal guitar elite. Now, his signature “Falcons” RF pickup set is yours to command. Based on his EMG 57 and 66 pickup pair, this matched set fuses the firepower of active pickups with an organic passive voice and a custom-tweaked gain structure. This maximum headroom design shines equally well for shimmering cleans and blistering fretwork, winning over passive pickup purists here at Sweetwater for its touch sensitivity and blossoming harmonic overtones. And with EMG’s included quick-connect hardware and wiring, installation is quick and effortless. Road tested and ready to be dropped in your favorite guitar, the EMG Richie Faulkner “Falcons” RF Set is primed to set your guitar tone ablaze.
