The compact Canon RC-IP300 is designed to meet the needs of camera operators running live events, recordings, and broadcasts, incorporating key strengths of Canon’s larger RC-IP1000 controller into an equally efficient, more portable package. A clear, 3.5-inch touchscreen in the center of the controller provides immediate access to a wide range of functions, including 2 x 2 or 3 x 3 displays of up to 200 connected cameras, touch autofocus, and preset and trace functions. Sweetwater’s A/V experts say the RC-IP300's intuitive layout and menu indexing simplify monitoring, ensuring controls, settings, cameras, and presets are easily accessible via a combination of touchscreen navigation and physical controls. The speed-adjustable Pan/Tilt joystick and Zoom rocker also provide precise manual control over essential camera movements and are complemented by compatibility with Canon’s Auto Tracking and Auto-loop Add-on Applications, enhancing workflow automation in any production. Featuring a 3.5-inch touchscreen with easy-to-navigate menu indexing at the center of the console, the RC-IP300 provides a streamlined user experience that every operator is sure to appreciate. It’s here that you can easily monitor up to nine camera feeds at once, enable touch autofocus, and activate auto-tracking to precisely align your feed’s attention with your creative vision. You can also access camera OSD menus and statuses, create easily identifiable thumbnails for your go-to preset camera positions and trace paths, and even integrate Canon’s Dual Pixel Focus Guide tool for quickly adjusting on-point and back/front focus settings, all with your fingertip.
Intuitive control layout
In addition to the touchscreen, a combination of physical dials and buttons, backed by LED indicators, gives RC-IP300 operators easy access to the most crucial settings during production. In the center of the controller are 10 camera/preset buttons, each providing quick access to either camera selection or camera preset selection. You'll also have immediate access to dedicated buttons for a number of camera settings, dials for various on-screen functions including Speed and Focus, and three user-assignable buttons for additional functions. This robust control panel delivers tactile feedback in a compact form factor for confident, efficient operation.
