Clean sound and stepped attenuator. Only lacking a phase button so you can check sides but this seems to be a feature that monitor controllers costing an order of magnitude more have decided to omit. I didn't purchase because of the Bluetooth but it turned out to be a great bonus. I can reference music with the computer and interface off. Who knew?

After upgrading to the Heritage RAM 1000, I immediately noticed a huge leap in sound quality and transparency. Compared to my previous monitor controller, the RAM 1000 significantly improves mix translation—what I hear in my studio is exactly what I get when listening on other systems.

One of the biggest differences is the stereo imaging. With my old controller, I experienced some degree of left-right smearing, but the RAM 1000 delivers a much more precise and focused stereo field. There's also a noticeable improvement in clarity and balance—the top end feels more open, the low end is punchier, and the overall signal is far more accurate. The large rotary gain knob maintains perfect left-right balance at all levels, and the detented (stepped) volume control makes it easy to recall exact settings.

Reference Mixes Made Easy

I didn't realize how much I needed the Bluetooth feature until I had it. The RAM 1000 connects instantly to my computer, phone, or any other Bluetooth device, making it incredibly convenient for referencing tracks on the fly. Even better, it allows for simultaneous input selection—for example, I can monitor Bluetooth audio while also listening to two analog sources. This flexibility makes A/B comparisons effortless.

Flexible Output Selection

Switching between different speaker setups is seamless. The RAM 1000 lets me toggle between two sets of outputs or even use both at the same time. This is a crucial feature for checking mixes across multiple monitoring environments without having to rewire anything.

Overall, the Heritage RAM 1000 is a fantastic investment. The transparency, balanced stereo image, and intuitive design have made a noticeable difference in my workflow. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a monitor controller.

Nice monitoring system. I replaced a very old Mackie Big knob. The Heritage is simple and easy to use. It could be my imagination but it seems like my system sounds a lot better. The small footprint is great too. I have not tried the bluetooth input and don't think I will have a use for that.

Great controller. I needed something that had balanced inputs and outs and used controls without pots that wouldn't ever get crackly. Love the stepped and highly accurate volume controls for mains and headphones. Bluetooth input is another nice feature. Audio is clean and pure, highly recommend.
