Two Pultec EQs in One
When it comes to mastering a track or shaping its individual components, nothing beats a Pultec. Just ask legend Bob Clearmountain, who still reaches for these legendary EQs today. This licensed Pultec bundle for the Apogee FX Rack gives you carefully modeled virtualizations of two iconic (and pricey) pieces of analog hardware, each given their blessing by none other than Pulse Techniques' current manufacturer Steve Jackson. The EQP-1A gives you heaps of that tube-and-trannny, boost-and-cut shaping power. This plug-in is perfect for giving your bass, drums, and vocals a touch of that real-deal analog mojo. You also get the more surgical MEQ-5, which is better suited to sculpted critical midrange frequencies to prevent masking and increase headroom across your tracks. Apogee's FX Rack plug-ins run either natively in your DAW or on compatible Apogee hardware DSP*. Take it from Apogee FX Rack users at Sweetwater: with the Pultec EQ bundle, you've got enough control to shape and hype tracks however you see fit.

EQP-1A Program Equalizer
The Pultec EQP-1A Program EQ plug-in re-creates the broad EQ curves and band interaction of the legendary vintage tube equalizer. You've heard the original hardware on countless hits. Now you can treat your tracks to the massive bass, silky air, and addictive warmth that made the EQP-1A a studio standard for over a half century.

MEQ-5 Mid-range Equalizer
Got a particularly pesky midrange frequency that's giving you grief? Zap it dead with the MEQ-5. Three bands of midrange control — two boost and one cut — allow you to not only neutralize midrange content, but also to give bass guitar the bite and vocals the clarity they need to stand out in a mix.
Run natively or on hardware DSP
At Sweetwater, the name Apogee commands respect. For over three decades, Apogee Electronics has been raising the bar for professional digital audio recording. With innovative hardware products that deliver superior sound quality and usability, Apogee has captured the music of the world’s top artists. Now, Apogee FX Rack brings their inimitable expertise to the world of software audio plug-ins. Apogee FX Rack delivers a premium selection of modern and vintage-style plug-ins with streamlined, flexible workflow options that run natively in your favorite DAW on your Mac or on Apogee hardware DSP in Element Series and Ensemble Thunderbolt interfaces.

Print workflow
In Native mode, you can use Apogee FX Rack plug-ins in any DAW on your Mac without having Apogee hardware connected — just like any other plug-in. If you're using an Apogee Element Series or Ensemble Thunderbolt interface, however, the hardware DSP in these units offers two additional workflow options for recording. Print mode applies Apogee FX directly to the Apogee hardware input. Simply open the FX Rack in Apogee Control, apply your desired processing, and record: FX processing is printed to your DAW track.
DualPath Monitor workflow
DualPath Monitor offers a simple solution to let you continue to tweak your processing as you record and build your mix. Open a native Apogee FX Rack in your DAW, link it to an Apogee hardware input, and a parallel FX Rack is automatically opened in the low-latency monitoring path. To maintain sonic consistency, changes made in either plug-in are instantly mirrored. As most hardware controls (including mic preamp gain) are accessible from within your DAW, there’s no need to even switch between windows.
