NUX Pulse Mini IR Loader
Sells separately for $99.00The NUX Pulse is an impulse response loader designed for gigging musicians seeking compact options for direct-to-PA sound with their analog rigs. The Pulse comes preloaded with eight cabinet simulations each for electric guitar and bass guitar and eight IRs that replicate various acoustic guitars — all accessible within three different modes. Sweetwater’s gigging musician population values the flexibility of using the same Pulse pedal in different rigs of theirs, from playing fiery rock solos in their cover bands to acoustic gigs at the local coffee shop. Is your tone sounding flat when going direct? Add some reverb and aural space to your mix with the Space control. A headphone jack found on the side of the Pulse encourages silent practicing without the need to switch on any amps in the room. Furthermore, extra options open up to you with the USB-C port, such as an audio interface to capture that quick spark of inspiration before it disappears forever, and an edit program to load your own third party IRs and receive firmware updates. Add buffered and true bypass options, and the Pulse stands as a worthy candidate for any rig, regardless of placement in your signal chain.
