Software Compatibility

You'll need an iLok copy protection device in order to use this software. If you already have one, you're good to go. If you don't, you can buy one here plugs into your computer. It "unlocks" the software, allowing you to use it.

Most software is compatible with both macOS and Windows, but check to make sure.

If you're using Pro Tools, AAX plug-ins are what you need. Most other DAWs on macOS support Audio Units (AU) plug-ins, while VST is compatible with many DAWs on both macOS and Windows. Be sure you choose plug-ins that work with your DAW!

The Pro Multiband Dynamics plug-in is an impressive new dynamics-shaping tool from Avid that lets you apply various dynamics processing across your audio in four independent frequency bands. Each of the four frequency bands lets you add either upward expansion or downward compression according to its own threshold. One extra thing about Pro Multiband Dynamics that really impressed the engineers here at Sweetwater is that you can split each frequency band to its own bus, opening up even more processing possibilities. And with support for up to 7.1 mixes, Pro Multiband Dynamics is perfect for post-production mastering. NOTE: This product requires an iLok (not included) for authorization.
