From Reverb to Echo and Back Again
Able to morph continuously between reverberations and multi-tap echoes, the Make Noise Soundhack Plexiphon enables instant voltage-controlled access to myriad settings with no mode switching or algorithmic isolationism. This modeless spatial texturizer features stereo I/O, along with mono sum normalizations for the inputs and outputs, bolstered by Couple and Skew parameters that enable you to isolate and intermingle channels in novel ways. The Plexus control simultaneously modulates the number of algorithmic feedback paths and their entanglement. You also get a Send gate for straightforward patching of dub echo techniques, and the CV Out allows for reintegration of the Plexus into its own controls elsewhere in the voltage-controlled system. Moreover, you can smooth the modulation of space, time, and intensity using Size and Decay controls, and you can soften, sharpen, darken, or brighten effects over time using the Diffuse and Color controls. Built from entirely new code by Tom Erbe, the Plexiphon was engineered specifically for Make Noise’s newest digital hardware. According to Sweetwater’s noisemakers, the Soundhack Plexiphon pairs well with everything, enabling you to craft an endless array of ear-grabbing texture timbres.
