Tap Into Classic British Crunch

When Sweetwater guitar players want that classic British high-gain sound without having to bring a full stack with them, they turn to the NUX Plexi Crunch pedal. This NUX Reissue series pedal captures the sonic and tactile vibe of a highly celebrated amp circuit in a single pedal enclosure. Multiple gain stages are on tap via its Preamp control — dial it in to reach territories between subtle blues drive and hot, searing leads with plenty of sustain. Turn down your guitar’s volume control to experience low-gain sweetness, thanks to the FET-controlled gain structure. Lastly, true bypass operation keeps your signal intact when you switch the pedal off. For a traditional crunch sound that keeps your tone pure, the NUX Plexi Crunch is a sure bet for your rig.

NUX Plexi Crunch Features:

  • Overdrive pedal based on a vintage British-style high-gain circuit
  • FET structure responds to picking dynamics and guitar volume controls authentically
  • True bypass operation won’t degrade your signal chain when not active

Great little pedal with MONSTER tone!
This pedal has great versatility. If you get a chance to try one go for it. Thank you Sweetwater and my sales representative Cliff Hackleman.

Worth the money!

When i tell you i would use this to gig at large venues im not even joking. i love the circuit and the overall tone of it. very adjustable and works amazing

Surprisingly good purchase
This is a wonderful pedal with a rich sound. I use it alone and with my Supro overdrive for a nice edgy sound. Gets a bit noisy in certain settings but doesn't distract, and it can be addressed with a gate. I'd recommend one to your pedal board.

Great value and tones.
I own both a Carl Martin Plexitone 2ch pedal and a Wampler Plexi Drive. This pedal produces similar tones at an incredible price point, and less footprint.
Music background: 50+ years of cover tunes and a few song songs on an indie CD.
I like it...
This pedal is completely worth the money and worth a try.

Plugged in and immediately got sounds I like. Everything works as expected. Has enough range on the Master/ Pre Amp volumes to dial in a good variety of crunch to solo sounds. I have not noticed any appreciable noise. Certainly quiet enough for live apps.

Build quality seems sturdy. No cheesy feeling knobs or case. For most players it will probably fit the bill as a good addition to your board for a VERY good price point.
