The hardware consists of a 128-point analog patchbay in a rugged 3U chassis with I/O arranged on rear-panel DB-25 connectors. Control over patchbay assignments and routings is carried out from either the Patch App or the Patch App DX, easy-to-use Mac/Windows or iOS software that communicates with the patchbay via USB. In Patch VT, no audio is ever converted to digital — all channels running through it remain in the analog domain and only the patchbay routings are altered digitally. Patch VT gives you the advantages of both worlds — pure analog audio with fully digital, computer-based control. This allows Patch App and Patch App DX routings to be instantly stored and recalled.
