And, from editing to fading to controlling tempo, having a command of your computer keyboard can keep you from hanging out, searching through menus. That's why the Digidesign Pro Tools Custom Keyboard is such an essential for any Pro Tools user. It outlines all of the Pro Tools keyboard shortcuts — including their accompanying symbols — right onto your regular computer keyboard.

Not only does the Digidesign Pro Tools Custom Keyboard lay out all of the Pro Tools shortcuts onto its keys, it also features a handy color-coding system — the same color-coding system, in fact, that's featured on Digidesign's ICON D-Control worksurface. By knowing what "kind" of edit or adjustment you need to make, you'll be able to quickly place your finger on the right key. There are different colors for Edit, Transport, Record, MIDI/Metronome, Zoom/View, and Fade functions.
