You can actually connect your cables neatly on the board by routing them over, under, and even through the slots in the top surface area - this way, they're not exposed on the top of the pedal board, and you don't have to worry about accidentally disconnecting them with an ill-placed stomp when you're mid-solo!

What is Certified Open Box Gear?

At Sweetwater, we're so picky that what we call "Certified Open Box" is actually better than what most music retailers sell as "new" gear! Our gear hasn't endured hundreds of people a week plunking away at all the keyboards, fumbling through Stairway to Heaven on every guitar or playing with every fader and knob on a mixer or control surface.

Certified Open Box (also known as a demo) means we’ve had it out of the box for our YouTube channel, displayed at events, tested in our studio, or maybe it was in a customer’s hands for a few days and isn’t ‘factory fresh’ as a result. Every Certified Open Box item we sell has Sweetwater’s 2-year Total Confidence Coverage™ warranty and has been tested and verified up to ‘new’ specs by our factory-authorized technicians to make sure it’s in perfect working order before we ship it to you.

When you buy a Certified Open Box item at Sweetwater, you get:
  • 2-year Total Confidence Coverage Warranty™!
  • Products inspected and tested by our factory-authorized techs, guaranteed to function like new (or better)!
  • FREE shipping on most items
  • Equipment that will MEET or EXCEED your expectations!

Reviews

Best in the market

Sweetwater completely changed the way I shop for my instruments and tools. Their customer service is outstanding—whenever I have a question, they call me back and patiently help me every step of the way. My Fender Bass Ultra 2 arrived with the perfect 51 points, and for my pedal board, they didn't just help me choose what I needed—they also assisted in configuring and tuning the optimal setup. I am 100% satisfied with their support. Honestly, if you're buying your gear from Amazon or other shops, you're missing out on the incredible advantage of having true professionals guiding you through every challenge.

Great Size For Starting Out With Room To Grow
I'm just getting into using pedals. I originally started with a smaller pedalboard and realized that while it was the size I needed for the current pedals I'm using, there was no room to add anything (which meant I would end up buying a larger board). This size allows for my tuner, Janglebox JBX, chorus and Sansamp, with enough room to add a few more in the future. The ability to place the power supply underneath is really helpful, too.
Loving it
I'm not someone who has done an actual gig, but I wanted to delve into bass pedals and the disorganization on my floor had to be solved. Purchasing this pedalboard helps out a lot. I'm crossing my fingers that my setup will be like this for a while. I like how I could pair this with the 1SpotPro CS7. It's lightweight and the bag seems sturdy if I decide to take my pedals elsewhere.
Pedaltrain Classic Jr SC 18"x12.5" Pedalboard with Soft Case
This is a bullet-proof pedal board, there was still enough room above the placement of the Ernie Ball volume pedal to be able to use the first / upper row if needed. I may put my old Boss TU-12H tuner up there. I like the angle they designed it with. The carry bag is a great addition, has a zippered pocket on the outside with enough room for all the related cables I use with the board and then some. If I re-arranged this there would be room for way more stuff.
The perfect board for me
When I recently got my Noble preamp pedal, I decided to take the opportunity to reconfigure my pedalboard. I figured I could downsize it and improve its functionality as long as I could find the right board to build on. The Pedaltrain Classic Jr is the perfect size. It fits everything I need with a little space left over. It's small enough that I can take it everywhere, but large enough to handle everything I need.
