Warm, lively, and articulate
In the time-tested rankings of drum tonality, maple is the undeniable #1. That’s because of its natural warmth, energetic impact, fast attack, and articulate response. This combination in the Professional Maple 4-piece Shell Pack makes for a knockout performer that checks every box, highlighting rhythmic intricacies and subtleties in the studio while leaving lasting impressions out onstage. To add to the professional response of these shells, Pearl shaved each piece of the Professional Maple kit with 45° bearing edges. Allowing the superior Remo UT drumheads to vibrate against the shell with perfectly balanced contact, this process improves sustain and brings out the best of both shell and head tones.
Freedom of movement and resonance
Few brands do tom positioning and sustain design combos as well as Pearl, and the evidence is in the Professional Maple’s Optimount Suspension System. This 4-way holder isolates each shell from any mounting hardware, enabling them to resonate freely and project the purest possible tone. The Optimount is also backed by the included TH1030I tom holder and B83 bass drum bracket. These pieces afford the tom arms exceptional GyroLock positioning to ensure that every player can swing, angle, and set the rack toms in a location that best suits their playing style.
Hardware you can depend on
Aside from providing players with phenomenal natural tone and maximum freedom for adjustments, the Pearl Professional Maple 4-piece Shell Pack comes ornamented with highly dependable hardware, too. To start, this shell pack is dressed all around with 2.3mm triple-flanged SuperHoop IIs, supplying weight relief, better sustain, and fantastic projection. Additionally, the traditional RL lugs will hold down your tension rods with an unwavering intonation, while rugged and adjustable bass drum spurs provide consistent positioning efficiency with tour-grade durability. Choose the Professional Maple, and you’ll feel just as sound when enduring the rigors of the road as you will putting it through its paces in the recording studio.
