The title says it all. This head booms on an 18"x22" maple kick. I've always previously used emad and superkicks, so this is my first head without some sort of built-in muffling system and first Remo. Being on a budget, I've used the same emad head for over two years. I wasn't thrilled with it when I bought it, but I was committed. It served me well until it gave in and I sent a beater through it during a worship set. I decided to try Remo, as I had been looking at them for a few months. I'm now ordering Remo heads for my entire kit. Appearance is also important to me, and even though I'm the only one that sees the batter side of the kick, I still want a classy looking head. The Remo crown is the epitome of class when it comes to drum heads. My church buys Remo and I now see why it is the most loved brand on the market. Remos typically cost more than Evans, but their quality is worth the extra pennies.

Missing link

The Powerstroke 3 batter was the needed piece of the puzzle for my 22" Yamaha birch kick. Remo was my only choice. And of course Sweetwater is always great!

Good sound&Quality

Beater head is of better quality than the previous one I had, good sound ,I switched to a wood beater so the falam patch works out well for me also.
