In terms of playability, the Otamatone is more akin to a violin or a guitar in that you play pitches by sliding your fingers up and down its “neck” or “stem.” You can add vibrato by shaking the stem, and you’ll get a wah-style effect by squeezing the Otamatone’s “face.” The Otamatone Regular model offers three octave options, so you’ll be able to play an endless array of songs.
