Whether you need to connect a low-output dynamic microphone or an extra-hot line-level sound source, the RME OctaMic XTC delivers the analog input you need. A set of eight XLR combo jacks save space while giving you inputs for microphones, line-level sources, and even instrument-level signal. In fact, half of the OctaMic XTC's jacks are wired for balanced line level TRS plugs, whereas the other four feature extremely clean DI circuits.

Going hand and hand with the OctaMic XTC's versatile analog input selection is a series of eight microphone preamplifiers, which features one of RME's most pristine circuitry to date. Not only are these preamps incredibly clean, with distortion levels so low they make other respectable models sound like toys, they also offer an impressive 85dB gain range.
