Works for me
I'm using this with the internal mic for an oboe. I'm a beginner practicing alone so I need all the help I can get. So far it has helped me correct my intonation, especially on the higher notes. Everything works as I expected and I've had no problems. I already have a fancy frequency counter but the tuner is far more convenient for this purpose.

pitch control
I bought this tuner so I could check how accurately I can play various notes on my trombone. I have used it for a few weeks now and it has helped me to zero in on my intonation.

I bought this special tuner for my granddaughter who is an oboist. She loves it and has used it many times since we purchased it. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly it arrived and the follow up care that Sweetwater takes to make sure the tuner was in good working order and that we knew how to use it.

Exactly what I was looking for - versatile
Having just purchased a new flute, I needed a tuner to really double down on intonation, and replace a 30 year old Korg tuner. Yes you can grab something for $25, but it won't do what this one does for a woodwind player - those are more for tuning string instruments. First of all, the sensitivity of the meter, which I experience as its "jumpiness", is adjustable, which is really helpful in charting the intonation quirks of an instrument. Secondly the reference tone has two volumes, and can be jacked into an external speaker. I like to practice by adjusting notes and listening to the difference tone, for example I make the reference tone the third of the triad, and play the root and fifth on either side while keeping the ghost tone (the root) constant. I had to call Sweetwaters to get the range of the reference pitch - it is in fact C2-C7. It's also really easy to calibrate. There's all types of cool features that I have not had time to explore, like temperaments and "sound back". Nice case as well, and Sweetwaters can sell you an adapter. Worth the extra money for a fully professional tuner.

Korg OT-120 Orchestral Tuner
This was a 1st attempt to tuning a used piano we bought. I am a beginner. I tried the digital app on my phone it got me close but you can see more define range that I missed on the digital app tuner. ts really easy to use and I love the calibration. I use my tuning frenquency to 444 hz. I haven't recieved my microphone extension yet, I am sure that will be a plus for helping on the the higher upper register keys.
