Pump Up Your Jams!
The Waves OneKnob Pumper is a simple plug-in that simulates the effect of applying sidechain compression to a track. Dropped into a synth pad's effect chain and synced with a four-on-the-floor kick drum, it adds the instantly recognizable pumping effect that is a hallmark of EDM. But OneKnob Pumper's usefulness doesn't end there. Sound designers and electronic musicians at Sweetwater employ it as a creative tool to add subtle or drastic amplitude modulation on numerous sources — for creating warbly vocals, atmospheric tremolo, undulating bass, and more. Additionally, OneKnob Pumper offers a variable rate control and an offset function for dragging the effect behind the beat. With its single knob design for dialing in the depth of the effect, OneKnob Pumper is a fast and fun way to pump up your tracks!
