The Legendary Uni-Vibe Returns!

Korg worked with the developer of the original Uni-Vibe pedal, Fumio Mieda, to bring you the most accurate re-creation ever - the Korg Nuvibe chorus/vibrato effect pedal. You'll command the pulsating chorus and vibrato effects that practically defined the era of psychedelic rock. With wave sliders to create your own LFO waveforms, and an included expression pedal, guitarists at Sweetwater immediately saw the incredible creative potential in the Korg Nuvibe. Whether you want to emulate the classic tones of your favorite guitarists, or create sounds and textures never heard before, your expectations will be exceeded with the Korg Nuvibe pedal.

Korg Nuvibe Chorus/Vibrato Guitar Effects Pedal at a Glance:
  • The Uni-Vibe returns, with the help of the original developer
  • Create amazing rhythmic tones with the adjustable modulation waveform
  • Extra creative potential with the included expression pedal
The Uni-Vibe returns, with the help of the original developer

When it came time to re-introduce the world to the Uni-Vibe effect, Korg wouldn't settle for less than a spot-on re-creation of the original guitar effect. Korg worked closely with the developer of the original Uni-Vibe pedal, Fumio Mieda, to emulate the classic effect with the utmost accuracy. While new features have been added for modern players, a new discrete design using 79 transistors delivers the authentic sound of the original Uni-Vibe's CdS photoresistor.

Create amazing rhythmic tones with the adjustable modulation waveform

Unlike the original Uni-Vibe, the Korg Nuvibe gives you wave sliders you can use to create your own modulation waveforms. While you can create smooth, cyclical LFO shapes like the original effect, you can also create asymmetrical waveforms that have a groove all their own.

Extra creative potential with the included expression pedal

You'll definitely be inspired once you hear the Korg Nuvibe with your favorite electric guitar, through your favorite amplifier. Once you've got it dialed in, you can take the effect over the top with the included expression pedal. Let loose with it during your next solo, and we're sure your audience won't forget the experience anytime soon.

Korg Nuvibe Chorus/Vibrato Guitar Effects Pedal Features:
  • Recreation of the classic Uni-Vibe chorus/vibrato effect
  • Designed with the help of the original Uni-Vibe developer, Fumio Mieda
  • Discrete design uses 79 transistors
  • Create your own rhythmic modulations with the wave sliders
  • Control modulation with the included expression pedal
Classic psychedelic rock sounds are yours with the Korg Nuvibe pedal!

Well playing pedal

This is one of the best pedals/ very best stock pedal I've played. I can adjust the speed and intensity and just play for hours. The vibe is more than fair-it's good. I don't understand why more aren't sold. I also don't understand they aren't on the shelf. Am I that much an dinosaur? Thank you Ryan Clapper again.

As a guitarist who owned a shinei Uni-Vibe in 1971...

Straight to the point. I saw the Korg NuVibe in my Winter 2015 Sweetwater catalog, read some additional online information that included the new "no light bulb/no photo-cell" circuit approach, then I ordered mine. When my NuVibe arrived I plugged in using my Fender USA classic series 1968 Strat, I set the wave graph to the factory default & clearly marked Uni-Vibe setting and with a slight adjustment to the "speed" and "intensity" controls I was swimming in authentic 60's shinei-Vibe-type waves of chorus and vibrato. What really blew my mind was the NuVibes' ability to get real chunky with the chorus effect. Analog warm was the "vibrato" effect as well. Though I own a drawer full of highly respected "Vibes", I've only used the NuVibe since it arrived. "Korg NuVibe yields the original great 1960's U-Vibe effects without photo cells and a light bulb. And the NuVibe serves it up analog-style, thick-and -gloppy. Or however you like yours". I'm just glad I got mine right away. I only wish the cord that attaches the speed pedal to the NuVibe was grey instead of black. That's just the NuVibe fanatic in me. I'm a Jimi Hendrix fanatic guitarist since 1968 (age 14). In 1971'ish I purchased my first brand new Fumio Mieda Vibe,(with the double rubber strips on the speed pedal,...the one Jimi used at Woodstock). I heard that the Jimi-at-Woodstock model was a demo or test run. I replaced my Jimi-at-Woodstock UVibe a couple years ago. Found one online for $1,100.oo !

Sweetwater Advice

Korg Nuvibe

Nuvibe isn't about being sensible, and I adore its old-school attitude. It's a throwback to an era when guitar effects were weird, unruly, and enormous in every regard. ...
