Heavyweight Power from a Featherweight Amp

Tired of running out of PA power at gigs? Want more headroom and thump? The Behringer iNUKE NU3000 offers dual 1,500W power amps at a 2 ohm load — how is that for power? Weighing in at less than 8 pounds, the NU3000 runs cool thanks to the revolutionary Class-D technology with "near-zero" thermal buildup. And you can easily integrate this power amp into your rig thanks to the universal XLR / 1/4" combo jacks and speakON outputs.

The latest in power amp technology

Power amp technology is constantly evolving, and the Behringer iNuke NU3000 power amp takes advantage of the latest advancements. Thanks to the revolutionary Class-D technology with "near-zero" thermal buildup, the lightweight iNuke NU3000 runs cool without the need for massive heat sinks or toroid transformers. A built-in limiter offers overload protection to extend the life of your precious speakers and subs — a feature which Sweetwater knows is important to our weekend warriors.

3-way crossover cleans up systems with mains & subs

On the back of the iNuke NU3000 power amp you'll find a 3-way crossover switch. In center position is Full Range mode, which sends the full power of your amp, unfiltered, to your loudspeakers. This is what you'll want if you're dedicating your amp only to your full-range mains and monitors. But if you're running a mixed system with both mains and subs, the two other positions create a powerful and well-defined sound fast without additional processors. LF mode on the left sends only low-frequency content below 100 Hz to your subs; HF mode on the right sends only content above 100Hz to your full-range loudspeakers.

Behringer iNUKE NU3000 Features:

  • 3,000W total — 2 x 1,500W @ 2 ohms, 3000 Watts into 4 ohms bridged
  • Built-in 3-way crossover makes it easy to combine main speakers with subwoofers
  • Built-in limiters provide reliable overload protection to protect your speakers
  • Ultra-efficient switch-mode power supply
  • Thermally efficient Class-D technology
  • 3-year manufacturer warranty

Great class D amps

Been using the Inuke series since they released. I run them hard in all conditions, heat, cold, rain..etc. Have never had a single issue with any of the. Super light, super effecient, super price. Currently have 2 NU3000's running bridged, 4 NU 6000's and 2 NU4 6000's.

Great Amplifier

I DJ weddings, parties, community event sound system services. I have two PA systems & gave one to my son including the amplifiers, etc. I needed to get new Amps. The EP 4000, EPX 3000 & EPX 900 I gave my son continue to work and work well. But Behringer no longer makes the EPX series. Darn! I really liked the one rack space EPX 900--great for high end amplification. Ok, I read a lot of good reviews and tech information for the INUKE series amps and decided to buy two. With the way the INUKE series of amps are made, I really do not need to Tri-Amp as I always have. The way I have things set up is as follows: I go from my computer to my Behringer MX2004A mixer, to the sonic exciter (sound enhancer). It has 2 XLR and two TRS in's and outs each side. I send the TRS enhanced signals to my NU3000 amp (set on stereo full range) and the enhanced XLR signals to my NU6000 amp--(set for low frequency). I connect heavy gauge Neutrik speaker cables to my top boxes and two to my subs. My top speakers are the Peavey SP2's (15 inch black widows and RX22 compression drivers---box good for 2000 watts max each). With the internal cross over, the mids are sent to the black widows and high end sent to the RX22's. The subs are the Peavey SP218's (2 18 inch pro-rider's in each box rated at 2400 watts max per box). Ok, the result? Wow! Great enhanced sound thanks to the sonic exciter and a great match between he two amps. Mid's and highs are clear, well pronounced and balanced and the bass is thunderous. Sometimes I have to back the low off to balance with the mids and highs. The amps have 3 indicator lights next to the volume control before it clips. I get the lowest light to light up and it is loud. This gives my a lot of headroom. I have been doing sound work for a long time. I know what good quality sound is supposed to sound like and this combination works well for me. Try it yourself. I give the amps and sound enhancer 5 stars.

great product for the price

we were having humms and having a hard time getting the volume out of system that we wanted, when we bought this unit the hum went away and the sound is great with plenty of overhead for volume.

Very Powerful, and the weight still shocks me.

As everyone was in other reviews, I was skeptical of if it was actually going to produce that much power. And, I was shocked at what it could handle. I have a small sound company doing sound for local Philly bands, and I'm anything but a professional. My setup is 2 PV 215's, 2 EV 15" plus horn, Peavey Sub, EV top and bottom set, 2 custom 12" monitors, and 2 Yamaha wedge monitors. This 1 amp can run 75% of my speakers without clipping. Although I did not want to chance running it for an extended time. The sound was clear and loud. I will be getting a 2nd iNuke NU3000 to replace my Samson SX1200 and the 33lbs of it out of my rolling rack. I am planning on getting more speakers and I have a feeling that more iNuke's are in my future. Buy it, you wont be sorry.
