The MORPH 3 plug-in from Zynaptiq cranks the concept of blending sounds to 11 by taking two different input sounds and subsequently creating a new, blended sound with elements of both. Let your imagination take shape
MORPH 3 takes two input signals labeled A and B and computes two separate morphing transitions from A and B simultaneously — one starting at A and shaping it to become B, the other starting at B and shaping it to become A. Not only do these sound different, but you can also crossfade between them. Best of all, the UI is a simple two-dimensional X/Y control. Insert MORPH 3 into your session, set up the routing for the sounds you want to blend, and get ready for a world of sonic possibilities.
New, improved Formant Shifter
The previous MORPH 2’s Formant Shifter was one of the plug-in’s most lauded features, and MORPH 3’s iteration looks to be continuing that tradition. It features +/- 24 semitones of range plus all of MORPH 2’s Formant Shifter algorithms, and its natural, focused sound will preserve all your source audio’s characteristics without introducing any unwanted artifacts.
Transient Bypass for augmented clarity
MORPH 3’s Transient Bypass module lets you boost transients from your source inputs, as well as bypass the Formant Shifter module completely. This results in a much clearer, more focused sound that can be useful when designing impacts, accents, and rhythmic patterns.
