These cabinets have stood the test of time as I have had them for a little over 5 years and they still look brand new. I play everything from crystal clear tones with effects pedals to hard rock driven chunky riffs. I have been playing for over 20 years and these cabinets delivery quality every day in my home office studio. Thank you Sweetwater for delivering these sweet speakers. I bought two so I can run them in stereo and I saw the comment above, yes these cabinets are sparkly like alnico. You can get really clean sparkle out of these as well as pulverizing heavy rock sounds.

I paired this speaker with the Morgan ac40 and it sounds fantastic! I really questioned whether the speaker could deliver the top end of an alnico speaker, but it didn't disappoint. The frequency response is very similar to the alnico gold that could also be paired with my Morgan. It sounds good straight out of the box, no break in required.
