Legendary Moog Fatness and Warmth!

The Arturia Moog Modular V2 puts that fat Moog sound right into your DAW. Developed in collaboration with analog wizard Bob Moog, the Moog Modular V2 plug-in gives you the sound adopted by such greats as Tangerine Dream, The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder, Keith Emerson, and more. Because the Moog Modular V2 is modular, you've got endless synthesis possibilities. What's more, Arturia's "True Analog Emulation" technology means you've got an incredibly accurate reproduction of the original's legendary circuits with the Arturia Moog Modular V2.

Arturia Moog Modular V2 Virtual Instrument Synthesizer Plug-in at a Glance:
  • True Analog Emulation gives you an accurate model of the classic Moog
  • Lets you take the Moog sound in directions the original couldn't go

True Analog Emulation gives you an accurate model of the classic Moog
The Moog Modular V2 plug-in uses Arturia's TAE (True Analog Emulation) technology to faithfully re-create the analog circuits of the Moog Modular in the digital realm. With TAE, you'll enjoy aliasing-free oscillators at no extra CPU cost; better reproduction of analog oscillators (warmth!); an accurate reproduction of the Moog 24dB lowpass filter; and a reproduction of the original soft-clipping feature.

Lets you take the Moog sound in directions the original couldn't go
While the Moog Modular V2 virtual instrument lets you get the spot-on sound of the original synthesizer, it's also loaded with new possibilities. You'll enjoy having the ability to create and save your presets — or just launch into 600 different presets that come included. Other features include an effects section and full MIDI control.

Arturia Moog Modular V2 Virtual Instrument Synthesizer Plug-in What's New:
  • One unique scrollable view to overlook the entire synth
  • Some of the modules are now interchangeable, allowing to configure — to a certain extent — the Modular the desired way
  • Improvements on the oscillators (new free running), on the filters (better response to modulations), on the envelopes (faster and even closer to true analogical behavior)
  • New Unison mode
  • New Audio-In possibilities
  • The Soft-clipping emulation is now done on each mixer and not systematically on all of them, which saves on CPU load
  • 1630 Bode Frequency Shifter. Developed under the Moog license by Harold Bode in 1964, it is extremely rare (a dozen Worldwide)
  • 928 Sample and hold is also very rare. Originally assembled in a separate cabinet, it was adapted on the last modular series, in the late '70s
  • 912 Envelope follower (or Schmit Trigger). One of the most popular modules on the Moog systems, it was often added to original configuration to create complex modulation through the use of an output signal
  • 12-stage phaser. The Moog 12 Stage Phaser was very well known, and originally conceived as an external rack to the Modular systems
  • Formant Filter. A new module developed by Arturia, which did not exist on the original Moog systems. It allows the filtering of sounds according to the formants a, e, i, o, u
  • Ring Modulator. Also a new module developed by Arturia, it creates very metallic sounds
  • New presets
  • 200 new presets to provide optimal use of the new modules
