For the MiniMEGA and Other Peavey Gear

Take hands-free control of your Peavey rig with this 5-button footswitch. Pairing the Peavey 5 Button MIDI Footswitch with your MiniMEGA bass head lets you control crunch, compressor, KOSMOS, FX loop, and mute settings from the front of the stage or within the control room, courtesy of an included 25' cable. The 5 Button MIDI Footswitch also makes a reliable replacement for your Peavey Butcher guitar head's factory footswitch and adds remote control to your XR-AT powered mixer. Sweetwater bassists were glad to see Peavey include blank writable surfaces beneath each switch - an elegant alternative to writing over masking tape.

Peavey 5 Button MIDI Footswitch Features:
  • Compatible with the Peavey MiniMEGA bass head, Butcher guitar head, and XR-AT mixer
  • Built durable and quiet
  • Includes a 25' detachable cable for large stages and recording applications
  • Blank writable surfaces eliminate guesswork
  • MiniMEGA: remote access to crunch, compressor, KOSMOS, FX loop, and mute settings
  • Butcher: channel, boost, loop, and master volume switching
  • XR-AT: Auto-Tune, on/off, and FX defeat
Take control of your Peavey MiniMEGA bass head with the 5 Button Peavey 03025630 footswitch!

Reviews

Peavey 5 Button Footswitch
Perfect midi momentary footswitch for the XR-AT. I'm still in process of learning the Auto Tune but this is a tank of a footswitch, built very well. Thanks Chris, very speedy delivery !!!
Expensive mute button
I had higher hopes for this footswitch but those have not been realized. Of the 5 buttons, none offer me a real option for a "lead channel". I use the Punch feature to give me a boost when needed, but Punch isn't one of the 5 buttons on this footswitch. I don't use Crunch, Kosmos or external Fx. That leaves the Mute switch. So for me, this is just an $80 mute switch ... so not sure if I'll hang on to it much longer.

That said, the footswitch itself is really built tough like you'd expect from Peavey. It feels like you could drive a truck over it, so I would image it could take years of boot stomping. I just wish it had a Punch switch!

BTW - Service from Sweetwater was EXCELLENT, as usual. 5 stars for them :)
