A Stomper That Fits on Your Pedalboard

The Microlog is Logjam's most compact stomper yet - small enough to fit in the accessory compartment of your acoustic guitar case or on your effects pedalboard. Just use a 1/4" cable to connect it to an amplifier or PA system, and you're ready to play a big kick drum sound with a tap of your foot. Singer/songwriters at Sweetwater like using stompers to add weight and rhythmic power to solo acoustic performances, and they're great as an additional accent for percussionists, too. And because it uses a piezo pickup element, you don't even need batteries or a power supply to perform with the Logjam Microlog.

Logjam Microlog Piezo Stomper Features at a Glance:
  • Ultra-compact stomper, only 2.8" x 4.6" x 1.8"
  • Tap it with your foot to trigger a kick drum sound for rhythmic accompaniment
  • Non-slip rubber base keeps it in place onstage
  • Requires no power adapter or batteries
The Logjam Microlog is a kick drum you can fit on a pedalboard!

Reviews

Logjam Microlog
I've made several purchases now through Sweetwater. The reviews and demos on the website make perfectly clear what you're buying. I've also worked with Matt McKible. He offers expert advice to make certain I'm getting the right thing, and is great about following up to make certain that I'm happy. I'll be back every time I'm shopping, no matter how large or small the item.

This stomp pedal is inexpensive, and that's exactly what it sounds like when you plug it in. The brindle pickup on my guitar was much better for the kick sound than this… it sounds like a cheap woodblock from my 4th grade band. I was disappointed by it. Pay more and get one that has some thump behind it!
Save your money
So after watching a few vidoes with this or similar products being used, it seemed like it would add a little depth to my songs as I play solo acoustic. (Of course post production sound and live sound are two very different things.)

If you've ever tapped on a mic to see if it was on, you have heard this product. All it is is a mic inside a little wooden box. Could have made one myself for about $10 out of used parts...live and learn.

That being said, it is well made and sturdy, but that is the only "good" I can say about it. It has the sound of someone tapping on a mic, unless of course you crank up the bass on that channel and you'll get the sound of someone tapping on a mic with the bass turned all the way up.
