A Super-compact Interface From MOTU!
MOTU continues to knock it out of the park, with the MicroBook. Sized perfectly for desktop recording or recording on the go, the MicroBook stays out of your way so that your creativity can really flow. But the small size doesn't mean the MicroBook is short on features, as you've got access to a variety of inputs and outputs as well as MOTU's popular CueMix digital routing/no-latency monitoring software. But the magic doesn't stop there! MOTU also included British console-style and classic compression, perfect for adding a professional sheen to your recordings.
The MicroBook's 1/4" mic pre is very neutral, letting the true sound of your mic shine through. Its guitar input and stereo line-level input mean you can connect virtually anything to the MicroBook and enjoy pristine sound. Plus, the mic and guitar inputs are both controlled via "Precision Digital Trim" for accurate level setting. Rounding out the impressive feature set is a handy set of audio-analysis and diagnostic tools, including real-time FFT, spectrogram waterfall, oscilloscope, X-Y plot, and phase analysis - plus a test tone and a noise generator that can be independently assigned to any output. Despite its demure size (and price!), the MicroBook packs a punch!
