Reviews

Works great!
I just needed a small stand for a secondary kick mic and this one fit the bill. It's sturdy and stays out of the way. Perfect!

Perfect for Mic-ing Acoustic Guitar
This works great for mic-ing acoustic guitar. If you put the boom vertical, then a stereo bar on it, you can aim one mic at the sound hole, and another at the 12th fret. I'll post a link to a video where I mic my 1941 Martin classical - you can't see the whole stand, but you can easily see the business end with the boom vertical and holding a pair of Rode M5s on a stereo bar with anti-shock mounts. It fits everything, and gets good and close to the guitar.

Great stand
Amazing stand! Works great, but I wish the base was round. No problems so far! We will see how it lasts

It works
I have used On Stage Stands for many years. I needed another shorty boom for micing my bass drum and this was the best option that OSS has out right now. I'm not really happy about the base design. It can only face one particular way or it will fall over with the weight of the mic and cable. Years ago I bought another one that had a nice weighty cast metal chicken foot claw base that works much better. I wish I could've found one of those I would have bought it. But, this is working out just fine I guess. I've included 2 photos of the stands I'm talking about. Photo #1 is the new one that I'm reviewing and photo #2 is the older one I've had for years.
