Avid MTRX audio interface adapts to your workflow
Avid HDX features include Eucon-controlled monitoring, extensive integrated routing, and ultra-high-quality analog input, output, and microphone preamp card options. And you can choose which combination of modular interface options you need to adapt MTRX to your studio workflow preferences. The Avid MTRX base unit gives you 16 channels of AES I/O, one coaxial MADI I/O pair, two Mini-DigiLink ports, Pro | Mon 2 Eucon monitoring capabilities, and the DADman app for configuration and remote control from a Mac or PC.
Connectivity, reinvented
Offering a total of eight interface protocol options, the Avid HDX reinvents the concept of connectivity. For analog input and output, it lets you install up to six 8-channel AD/DA cards (including 8- and 2-channel mic preamp card options) for up to 48 channels of high-quality Avid conversion. From there, the I/O options are plentiful: up to 144 channels of AES/EBU (16 channels on the chassis), an AES3 card option with 16 channels plus SRC in, up to 256 channels of 3G-SDI, 64 channels of DigiLink (using the two rear-panel ports), 64 channels of coax MADI (via rear-panel I/O), over 1024 channels of MADI (up to 192 channels on the chassis), a Dual MADI card option with up to 128 channels via SFP coax and optical I/O, and a Dante option with up to 64 channels.
