A Comprehensive Update to the Classic MS-60B

Zoom’s MS-60B+ Multistomp bass effects pedal represents a full-featured overhaul of the classic MS-60B, dramatically enhancing your sonic possibilities and offering a cleaner, more intuitive control section. This powerhouse pedal boasts 11 classic amp/cab emulations, 11 tone-shaping preamps, and a whopping 75 effects to explore, allowing you to pair up to six of these options simultaneously to build the signal chain of your dreams. Plus, the MS-60B+’s revamped control section pairs a high-visibility LCD with four Cross Key switches and a quartet of encoder knobs to make the selection and editing of even the most complex patches a cinch. You also get next-generation analog circuitry to enhance your tone, an onboard chromatic tuner, and access to Zoom’s Guitar Lab for expanded sonic options. Packed with everything a bassist needs for both the stage and the studio, the Zoom MS-60B+ is a formidable multi-effects box that’s sure to enhance — or even replace — your pedalboard rig.

Your all-in-one pedalboard replacement

From classic amps to preamps to a comprehensive arrangement of effects, the Zoom MS-60B+ is a veritable sea of sonic versatility. This multi-effects mammoth sports 11 time-tested amp/cab combo emulations, providing you with spot-on recreations of the most sought-after rigs in bass history using Zoom’s innovative Multi-layer IR technology. Next, you get 11 preamps to play with, including eight time-tested bass standbys and a trio of original Zoom creations. It’s all topped off with a massive effects section, spanning 75 filters, drives, octave effects, modulation options, and more. Finally, the MS-60B+ allows you to utilize up to six amps, effects, and preamps simultaneously, allowing you to dial up your dream signal chain effortlessly.

Intuitive encoder knobs and Cross Key switches

Navigating tones and building presets is easier than ever, thanks to the Zoom MS-60B+’s entirely re-designed control section. Sweetwater bassists appreciate how the added four Cross Key switches make swapping between effects a breeze, providing significantly improved hands-free control. Once you’ve selected your effect, the LCD’s stompbox-specific graphics and four encoder knobs make dialing in as straightforward as it would be on any physical guitar pedal. Planning on taking your MS-60B+ onstage? This pedal’s LCD changes colors depending on your chosen effect category, making navigation efficient and lightning-fast.

Guitar Lab app unlocks enhanced sonic possibilities

While the MS-60B+ comes right out of the box with 75 studio-ready effects, connect your pedal to Zoom’s Guitar Lab app to access an ever-expanding library of new tones to explore. Not only does Guitar Lab offer additional effects, but it also features custom patches for the player who prefers plug-and-play functionality over minute preset tweaking.

Reviews

Zoom ms-60b
Buy this! Had the previous version, this is nite and day an upgrade, had my doubts at first, coming from a tube world ,tube tones, like realistic useable tones, great tuner, check out the Sabbath n.i.n patch, wow was shocked how authentic it was! Love it!
Music background: Hobbyist occasional gigging player.
Not compatible with PC Guitar Lab
I bought the MS-60B+ pedal off of ZOOM's web site because Sweetwater was sold out, as my MS-60B gave out and quit working. I saw that the pedal was compatible with Hand Guitar Lab for iOS. It was not stated anywhere but I also thought it was compatible with the PC version Guitar Lab. However, after confirming with ZOOM support, it is not compatible with the PC Guitar Lab. So, I had to return it. The reason I give 4.5 stars is for the software. I wish that ZOOM would make their products compatible with both systems (other companies do). Other than that, this pedal is awesome. It's just hard for me to see the small screen clearly as I get older.
Great Tones But Some Drawbacks
Love the variety of tones, effects, amp models and differnt genres availabe. But as another said, the select buttons are hard to navigate, so much so that I made a mod that works well, as shown in the pic. Also as said, it would be nice if user patches could be ordered as desired. The pre-select feature is useful, but limited. That being said the MS-60B+ is my go to preamp now.
Music background: Weekend Warrior
useful for bi-amping
I much prefer Zoom's B1 Four (PC compatible, especially the Guitar Lab app, plus a looper, beats, and a superior physical format)

The MS-60B+ does have one feature I really appreciate: two outputs, one wet, the other dry (or somewhat wet, or completely wet, user's choice)

If you don't need that feature, the B1 Four is the better choice
Music background: boogie rocker
Great sounds. Small foot pedals
I really like the pedal. Lots of clean, great-sounding amp models and effects. But the pedals are quite small and hard to navigate. Seems like an okay trade-off considering the price. Good value.
