I am using a pair of these DI MOD's at the end of my amp-less setup. In another situation I might have cared a little more about the transformer, but with all the juice behind the signal at that point I'm thrilled to not have to attach a giant brick DI somewhere. It appears there is a little 'thru' jack on the inside, which is cool if I ever wanted to use one of these as a re-amp dry send early in my chain. The construction, ease of install, and coolness all get a 10.

There are many great brands for boards but, I like this board the most partly because of its modularity. The DI Mod took two minutes to install and just works perfectly. This is a no-brainer for this board.

Great extension to the pedalboard, easier to put you guitar cable in instead of putting it into the first pedal in the chain.
