I"m sure it"s an excellent piece of hardware. I just can"t use it. I have a Zoom H2n field recorder with a 1/8" line-in jack that provides "plug-in" power. So after buying, I found out that not only will my recorder not provide enough power to use this lav. Additionally, the MKE 2"s 1/8" jack has a screw-on collar for wireless systems which would prevent it from plugging in flush to the side of my recorder. So that"s a double fail.

Sweetwater"s star rating system lists 1 star as "Just Not Right For Me." That"s exactly what the MKE 2 is.
