Yes the new Mono case is pricey, but if you need to protect your baby the higher cost is a moot issue.
This case is the best built protective device I have ever seen short of an ATA hard road case. Back in the day I had a very expensive case for a Smith bass and the bag was made of leather. That still works, but with the ballistic nylon material that Mono uses will last long after the time I'm not using it!
Beside the over padding used in the Mono they have a neck restraint that secured the bass in the case stabilizing the neck and the entire body within the case and insuring the protection of your investment. Would I buy another Mono if needed and continue shopping with Sweetwater, yes I would in a New York second!

This bag blew my expectations out of the water! The fit was perfect and there's plenty of room in it for all I usually carry! The quality is so nice even down to the handle and zippers. I've debated between multiple brands and I'm so glad I went with this setup! Shout out to Ivan for always making my purchases easy!

How much do you care about your guitar? The negative reviews that I read about is the price, buuuuut, you get what you pay for, right? I love this gig bag and it's the ultimate travel case for your guitars protection. Pull the plug and pick one up. You won't regret it.

As a working pro for over 45 years, and strictly a gig bag user since 1988, I have used many products. There are other nice bags out there, but there is no comparison to this gig bag/case. Sturdy, roomy, safe for your axe (I primarily carry my Ken Smith 5-string in it), and best of all I have managed to fit it in the overhead bins on every plane I've flown on in the past 8-10 years that I've had this case. It's a little expensive but well worth it!

I was LONG overdue to replace the case for my Bass Guitar. After reading the many favorable reviews, I chose the Mono Case. It is EVERYTHING the description said it was, well made with great insulation for transporting my guitar to the gig! I considered it Protecting My Investment!
