Your Cymbals' New Best Friend

The high-performance MONO M80 Cymbal Bag solves issues that you've had with conventional soft cymbal cases. Among the M80's innovations are a specialized clutch pocket to keep your clutch from nicking the edges of your hats at the bottom of the bag, Clip-tuck straps that give you options for single- or dual-shoulder transport — or for keeping them tucked away if you just want to use the comfortable steel-rivet-reinforced handle — a concrete-proof rubber outsole, anti-skip zippers, and more. Fabulously stylish as well as ultra-protective, the MONO M80 Cymbal Bag from Sweetwater is your cymbals' new best friend.

Reviews

Great bag
I really like this bag, it's sturdy, light, slim, and stylish. Works really well for up to 22" cymbals. The hi-hat clutch pocket is awesome, along with the smaller front pocket. I like it so much I bought another in the 24" size after buying a larger cymbal.
bag
I love this cymbal bag a lot. I take it on gigs and get compliments on them.
Many Moons Later... No Issues!
I have two of these bags - one for each set of cymbals I use. I throw these bags in the worst of conditions: from basements and backyards to "green rooms," they've kept up with the abuse of the road. My cymbals only crack when I bash them, not when I transport them. Another review here mentions the rubber chipping off. Not sure if I just got lucky, but I haven't experienced this on either bag. I don't necessarily have any brand loyalty to Mono per se, but I would likely get another Mono product if I needed one.
Music background: Drum Instructor and Gigging Drummer
Sorry I bought this bag
The bag has three pouches; splash, hats, and the main large pouch. As you can see in the picture each has a black edging. It's made of some kind of black rubber. Within a few months of receiving it the edging began to decay. Now 4 years later it has completely decayed and looks terrible aside from the rubber fragment trail I leave where I put the bag. Should have complained early on and tried to return it and gone with my initial instincts to buy a solid leather bag.

One of the things we love about MONO is their raw passion. Seriously - it might be hard to imagine being passionate about making gig bags and soft cases, but every time they come to Sweetwater to show off their latest creations, that message comes through loud and clear. That's what drives them to produce many of the best bags in the industry. Thin yet remarkably effective padding provides lightweight and slim protection, robust materials hold up to years of heavy use, and heavy-duty zippers won't fail on you. Even the stitching is a cut above the rest. That's the reason many gigging Sweetwater artists choose MONO, and we have access to everything! What's more, we see the same amazing design philosophy in their pedalboards and everything else they make. You can always trust MONO gear.
