Fantastic!!!!!!!
This is my first time using Larsen strings and they were only just delivered today but I'm already a total convert. I've heard so many people rave about them for years now, and they definitely live up to their reputation, in my opinion. To be fair, I don't have much experience with any other higher end brands, so I can only compare these to lower cost strings like D'addario rather than to other brands at this price point. But if you are in a similar position to me and you're thinking "that seems really expensive, how much of a difference can the brand of strings really make?", then let's just say this is one of those things where you absolutely DO get what you pay for. My cello sounds like a completely different instrument. The depth of sound and the range of subtlety is unlike anything I'm used to. They seem to be a bit more forgiving than cheap strings, too. It's just easier and more pleasant to play on high quality strings! Absolutely worth the investment. I also like the way these are packaged. Obviously the wax seal is a super fun little detail that makes me feel delightfully old fashioned, but it's also always been strange to me that it isn't really the norm for any kind of instrument strings to be in a fully sealed package. Definitely a green flag for quality there.

This was my first time ordering from Sweetwater, too, and they were great as well! My order arrived faster than expected and their customer service was just as responsive and helpful as I'd heard. I don't normally leave reviews for much of anything I buy online, but this was such an overall fantastic experience I just felt the need to share!
