Ear-shaped earcups provide better fit and isolation

Look close at the Lola headphones' earcups, and you'll see they're shaped more like ears than traditional headphone earcups. The ergonomic shape provides a better fit against your skull, which in turn improves isolation for reducing outside noise.

Designed for a customized fit

While some headphones provide cushy earcups and call it a day, Blue went to the drawing board to create a unique suspension system for the Lola headphones - it's actually modeled after the suspension system found on Formula One race cars. Lola headphones adjust for both width and height, for a comfortable fit on anyone.

No hype, just well-balanced audio

Blue went to great lengths to tune the earcups on Lola headphones for maximum fidelity and accuracy. You'll hear powerful bass, detailed mids, and clear highs, without over-emphasizing any particular part of the frequency spectrum. They're quite enjoyable for casual listening, and you can trust your edits and mix decisions will translate well too.

Great Headphones

These Headphones sound amazing. I have used different headphones but to me these Sound better. They have a natural/uncolored sound to them. They are also very comfortable. I would definitely recommend them.

Good, HP for many things

grams and weight...sheesh. The lola is the same HP as the more expensive pair; it just doesn't have an active amplifier built in, which of course makes it lighter. Useful information:I have found that these phones are great for evaluating musical balance; both volume and wet to dry relationships when mixing. Most HP are terrible for this. These are way more comfortable than most phones which to me feel like wearing a vise. They isolate well. Cons: well there are a few. There response is not even. There is something in the perception of sound in these phones which causes one to overcompensate substantially in the high frequencies. Others may disagree. While one can learn any playback system, its worth keeping this in mind. I have also listened to mic comparisons and tests which are really hard to judge in these phones. For example the Beyerdynamic DT990s which I have are much more revealing of fine detail and make microphone comparisons obvious. Why did I give the Lola such a high rating? Accurate reproduction of musical balance is a feat of engineering for any headphone. But I would advise not selling your studio monitors or any other higher end headphones which you can use to judge other aspects of your mix. Just another good tool; learn what it is good for.

From 466 to 397 grams.

The Lola specs in a mere 69 grams lighter than the Mo-Fi headphones; is that weight really going to be enough to make a difference for long sessions? Only time will tell.
