Best Bass Tone I've Ever Had...
I just re-acquired an Acoustic Control Corp B220 Combo Cabinet and sourced the head for it.
This speaker was a perfect fit for this rare piece of kit and the tone is amazing.
The head pushes about 140-160 actual watts with a 4ohm speaker and the CA154 is so perfect.
I'd suggest this replacement speaker to anyone. Don't let the price fool you, this is affordable quality!

bass speaker
Other than the JBL's I used to own back in the 70's, this Eminence speaker is the best sounding loudspeaker I've ever owned. And your customer service and shipping dept. are the best. Thank-you so much Sweetwater, you have another very happy customer in me.
Nice Speaker
I swapped this speaker into a new Kustom KXB100 bass combo amp I bought. The stock woofer sounded pretty good, so I was skeptical as to whether I'd notice a difference. However, it sounded much better than stock. It proved to be a nice pairing/ fit right into the enclosure perfectly. Replacing the woofer was as easy as unscrewing the old one unplugging it then reverse. No new terminal disconnect splicing required. It's got a bit warmer and clearer tone than the stock woofer did. Side-by-side you could also see how the eminence woofer is much higher quality material than the stock one.

Great Speaker at a Great Price Point
I recently bought one of these Eminence CA154 Legends to replace a 30+ year old Peavey 1505-DT 4 Ohm Black Widow in my mid-80s Peavey KB300 Keyboard amp. The original speaker had developed a nasty rattle when pushed with my Vox Continental organ. The new Eminence speaker was a simple swap out and used all the same screw holes. The magnet is much lighter than the original, 56 oz compared to over 14 lbs on the old one. I didn't know if that would make a tonal difference or not but I figured I'd chance it and see since the 1505-DT 4 Ohm is not one of the speakers that Peavey offers a simple re-cone kit for. I installed the Eminence Legend today which took all of 5 minutes and the amp sounds better than new. If you're unfamiliar with the KB300, it's a typical old Peavey - LOUD and a ton of low end - and this speaker handles my Vox organ through it with no problem at all - not a rattle to be heard anywhere and the full range of even my Korg SV-1 stage piano is clean and clear even when pushing the volume. For just over a hundred bucks, this is a great speaker. I might be upgrading my old GK Backline 115 with one of these soon too now that I've heard it.

Outstanding Combo Amp Replacement Speaker!
I purchased one of to install into a Peavey TNT 115. The Eminence CA154 was a drop-in replacement! Of course, while I was in there, I added a dual 1/4 jack arrangement to break the speaker wiring from the amp. That way, this awesome Eminence can be used as an extension speaker with a more powerful bass head, if desired! I can't even begin to tell you how much better this sounds than the Peavey speaker... The combo now has clear and accurate low end with excellent mid-range definition. The CA154 is the best money that I spent on bass guitar reproduction, yet!
