The Power Switch is a quick-release bass drum beater thumbscrew that replaces the stock set screw on your bass drum pedal. Sweetwater drummers who have battle-tested the Low Boy Power Switch at gigs and rehearsals report that it made a huge difference regarding the speed, comfort, and efficiency with which they were able to attach and/or change their bass drum pedal beaters. The Power Switch's large handle gives you plenty of torque — more than a standard drum key — and the spring-loaded, ratcheting design means that the screw stays in place while you reposition the handle.
