Independent frequency-shaping filters
Engineers at Sweetwater appreciate the independent dual-stage lowpass and highpass filters integrated into the LA-120 V2. These help you balance your recordings at the microphone, assisting you in capturing the purity and the vibrancy of a performance without having to apply inordinate amounts of corrective EQ. The 2-stage highpass minimizes low-frequency mud and structure-borne rumble as well as proximity effect, while the 2-stage lowpass helps to tame excessively bright sources.
Mic anything
The circuit allows for an ultra-wide 120dB of dynamic range and an SPL of 130dB. These features make the Lauten Audio LA-120 V2 ideal for capturing high-dynamic sources both in the studio and onstage. And with the addition of optional 10dB pads, you can push your LA-120s even further sonically, including guitar amps and toms. Boasting truly professional performance, impressive versatility, and a budget-friendly price tag, this Lauten Audio LA-120 V2 pair delivers incredible value.
