Next-gen Optimal Core Processing (OCP) technology
Here at Sweetwater, we're astounded by the flexibility afforded by the L350 Plus's next-gen Optimal Core Processing (OCP) technology and I/O architecture. The L350 Plus supplies you with 600 inputs and 600 outputs, with 216 mix paths at 96kHz. You can assign these flexible paths as Channels, Stem Groups, Auxes, and Masters, and configure them as anything from mono (which uses a single path) to 5.1 (which uses six paths). You also get four 32-in/36-out Matrixes with dedicated processing; all output paths include highpass and lowpass filters, an SSL-flavored 4-band parametric EQ, two seconds of delay, and an all-pass filter, plus two insert points that can be used with the console's internal Effects Rack, as well as with external processors.

The SSL L350 Plus's Channel Control Tile.Take command with confidence
When you're in the heat of battle, you need a clear view of everything in your audio environment. SSL knows this. That's why the L350 Plus was designed to keep every control you need at your fingertips when you need it. The L350 Plus's uncluttered interface arranges the most commonly used functions to sit within reach where your hands naturally fall on the console. Color change technology provides instant visual feedback without causing eye fatigue. You also get two 12-fader banks that offer lightning-fast access to the L350 Plus's 24 faders, which are complemented by a knob-per-function Channel Control Tile that's tailor-made for those who prefer the hands-on-hardware approach.
High-resolution 19-inch multi-touch screen
Thanks to its high-resolution 19-inch multi-touch screen, the L350 Plus is as intuitive to use as a smartphone. Not only can you use this touchscreen for system and I/O configuration, but you can also create surface layouts using the Layer Manager, for opening the L350 Plus's Channel View and Console Overview, and more. The Layer Manager empowers you to place any Channel, Stem Group, VCA, Aux, or Master, anywhere on the available Fader Tiles. The Channel View gives you a clear, logically organized overview and interface for your channels. Console Overview supplies an at-a-glance view of the entire console's signal flow. You also get a dedicated Automation interface and straightforward access to the console's Effects Rack.

The SSL L350 Plus includes a generous amount of local I/O.Great-sounding complement of local I/O
The Solid State Logic L350 Plus includes a generous amount of local I/O, with the capacity to serve both front-of-house and monitoring duties. For starters, you get 16 analog mic/line inputs and 16 analog line outputs boasting SSL's renowned SuperAnalogue design for a sound reminiscent of the company's legendary studio consoles. You get two headphones/monitor outputs along with AES/EBU I/O with fully variable sample rate conversion and an array of redundant and non-redundant MADI ports. There's also a separate MADI In/Out port for connecting external devices, such as Waves MultiRack or a VST effects host. SSL Blacklight II connectors, a Dante card, and a redundant pair of SSL X-Light connectors are also included, plus MIDI, LTC, Word Clock, and GP I/O. To top it off, this digital live console vaunts a frequency response within 0.05 dB of flat from 20–20kHz (within 1.3 dB down to 10Hz), a THD+N of <0.005%, and superior 24-bit/96kHz conversion.
Teeming with high-quality baked-in effects
The L350 Plus's Effects Rack is loaded with a full range of studio-quality processors accessible via the insert points on Channels, Stems, Auxes, and Masters, as well as from the router. This digital console includes seven categories of effects in mono, stereo, and multichannel formats. The L350 Plus retains the whole gamut of effects processors, including reverbs, delays, modulation effects, EQ, and even the famous SSL Stereo Bus Compressor. You also get a digital emulation of the SSL Variable Harmonic Drive (VHD) circuit, guitar and bass cabinet emulations, a Denoiser and Enhancer, a sizeable cache of metering tools, and a Dialogue Automix system. The L350 Plus's Effects Rack is designed to emulate the familiar workflow of a recording studio, and your effects routings and parameters are stored as part of the console's automation. All effects operate with ultra-low latency — an essential for live applications — and the entire Effects Rack runs off its own dedicated processing core with adaptive processing for ultimate efficiency.
