Reviews

I need to correct my review…
From March '24. I got one of these then and it had a volume boost. I gave it to friend. Eventually I got info from Keeley that I could adjust that with a trim pot inside the box and they said it should have been set at unison at the factory. Friend and I adjusted it and it worked fine. No boost. Friend kept the pedal. So I have now bought another one for myself and no adjustment was required.

I use this thing mostly just as a digital delay, without the modulation. It is simple and sounds great. It is warmer, less glassy and less in your face than most digital delays. When I use the modulation it also sounds great. I don't think it sounds like tape delay, but I don't actually like tape delay. I like modulation on the trails though. This is by far my favorite delay pedal. I'd doesn't do 50 different effects but what it does do sounds really good.
Sounds like the real deal
I just got this echo and I know I'm gonna get a lot of good miles out of this one.
Great value on a great pedal
The Mag Echo is a great delay pedal which a good range of tonal delay options. The modulation side adds a distinct character to it even giving you chorus sounds. For the price the Mag Echo is a great choice for a tape delay. Glad I pick one up and you should as well!
Simple and effective delay
Works very well for my needs and pocketbook. There are more sophisticated delay units out there-- but for gigging musicians this impressive little unit is simple to use and sounds great.

A Great Main Delay
If you're looking for a pedal that has really beautiful modulation to it then I think this is a great pedal to check out. It's not complicated but it's not boring and plain either. It's such a delightful delay that I think captures classic tape delay really well. Some people want to have many options for their delay but honestly I love how natural this sounds, it never really gets distracting or dominating in the mix. I like that you can adjust modulation speed as well, really useful. Can almost use this as an interesting chorus if you make the delay time really short as well. I really lovely pedal that will be keeping its place on my small board, as the only delay I have.
