A Groundbreaking Collaboration with Tosin Abasi
A new design, the Kaizen 7 is not a signature guitar — it’s a collaborative design between Tosin Abasi and Music Man. Shaped from alder, the original body design is contoured all the way around, leaving no flat surfaces on the instrument. The body is loaded with two all-new pickups — a slanted mini-humbucker in the neck and a full-size Custom HT heat-treated humbucker in the bridge — that deliver huge, tight tones. The roasted maple neck features a multi-scale ebony fingerboard with a 24.75–25.65-inch scale length. Music Man and Tosin also developed an innovative Infinite Radius fingerboard profile that allows you to see every inch of the fretboard while playing. Players at Sweetwater also appreciate the tremolo tailpiece — a rare sight on a multi-scale 7-string guitar. If you’re ready to experience something totally new, you’ll want to add the Kaizen 7 to your stable of guitars.

Exclusive humbucking pickup configuration
Ernie Ball Music Man developed two brand-new pickups for the Kaizen 7. The slanted neck pickup is a mini-humbucker mounted directly into the contoured alder body. With its naturally narrow field, the mini-humbucker gives you all the focused midrange bite you love with extra high-end clarity. Meanwhile, Tosin specified a custom-wound HT humbucker for the bridge position. Bolstered by a proprietary heat treatment, the HT humbucker showcases greater output, a huge dynamic range, and boosted presence. The Kaizen 7 has a 3-way pickup selector switch and Master Volume and Tone controls for shaping your sound.

All-new Infinity Radius fingerboard
Kaizen 7 is outfitted with Music Man’s Infinity Radius fingerboard design. Infinity Radius is an all-new concept with a slightly conical profile. The ebony fretboard is slightly thicker on the treble side with the cone’s pinnacle at the high E string. The Infinity Radius design lets you see the whole fretboard and fret markers from your playing position. Paired with the slick roasted maple neck, the Infinity Radius fingerboard is comfortable and sure to impress.
Multi-scale stainless steel frets and other thoughtful appointments
Tosin and Music Man spared no detail when designing the Kaizen 7. The guitar has an ebony fingerboard, 24 multi-scale stainless steel frets, and a 24.75–25.65-inch scale length. Multi-scale frets offer better intonation, keep the low strings at a higher tension, and allow the higher strings to bend with ease. The Kaizen 7 also has Steinberger gearless locking tuners that keep the strings arrow-straight from the tuning machine to the bridge. This design choice ensures you enjoy outrageous tuning stability under all playing conditions. Speaking of the bridge, Kaizen 7 has a custom-designed multi-scale tremolo bridge and tailpiece for even more expressive playing.
