K&M 25950

Great and sturdy. Perfect for putting inside kick drums close to the batter head

This thing could be used as a weapon in a fight. HEAVY. The only issue I've encountered is if your kick drum port hole is very low to the ground, as the swivel point of the boom arm is about 8+/- inches off the ground. If you like to get your kick mic deep into your kick drum and your port hole is very low near the bottom of the kick, you may want to research for another stand. But for quality, weight, and knowing this thing will not move if placed properly, this is a great kick stand. I'll probably buy another one or two for the studio to use on guitar cabs. BTW, I also have the K&M overhead stands, and those are much more solid than my cheaper studio tripod stands. No reservations at all about K&M heavy duty stands.

A great product

This stand is built like a tank as are all K&M products. It's heavy and it's heavy-duty. No cheap metal parts, everything from the boom to the feet to the knobs are ruggedly built and will last for years and years. Does it's job perfectly. The only minor criticism I have, and it's not worth removing a star from the review, is that the base has a larger footprint than I anticipated from the pictures. Not a deal breaker by any means, just something you should be aware of. There are other solutions available if you need a mini-boom in extremely tight spaces.

Perfect mic stand

This is the Best Short Mic Stand i have ever used. The weight is just right and perfectly centered. No tipping over, easy to adjust. It's just great.

Worth EVERY Penny!!!

Best kick drum stand available, hands down! This stand will likely out live me and why put a $200-$300 microphone on a flimsy $20 stand? Spend the few extra bucks, you will be glad you did.
