Legendary JamMan Performance with Next-gen Sound

The DigiTech JamMan Solo HD takes the company’s industry-leading looping capabilities to new heights with next-generation, high-definition AD/DA conversion for unparalleled sound quality. Like its predecessors, the JamMan Solo HD includes stereo looping, memory card support, autorecord sensing, and selectable stop modes. Moreover, JamSync is on hand, providing you with lock-tight synchronization between multiple JamSync-equipped devices for easy multitrack looping. The JamMan Solo HD houses 200 internal memory locations with a 35-minute recording capacity; installing an SD card extends that by 16 hours. You also get USB connectivity for one-step synchronization with DigiTech’s free JamManager HD librarian software. Simply put, the JamMan Solo HD gives you everything a looping aficionado could ask for, enabling you to record loops and solo over them on the fly — hands-free! The DigiTech JamMan Solo HD is an effective tool for practicing, composing, and performing.

Jump-start your musical capabilities

DigiTech pioneered looping nearly three decades ago, and the JamMan Solo HD effectively demonstrates the technology’s unlimited creative potential. You can use it to record rhythm loops, then solo over them on the fly, completely hands-free, or use it to slow down or speed up the tempo of any loop without changing its pitch. You’ll appreciate how seamlessly you can transition between recorded loops during playback. Furthermore, many musicians here at Sweetwater have leveraged the JamMan Solo HD’s JamSync feature to synchronize multiple pedals together for powerful multitrack looping. The JamMan Solo HD tears down your musical limitations, allowing you to let your creativity run wild.

The most advanced JamMan pedal yet

The DigiTech JamMan Solo HD is the company’s most powerful iteration yet. Like its predecessors, this stereo looper pedal includes 200 internal memory locations and 35 minutes of recording time. Moreover, the JamMan Solo HD’s memory card slot supports SD/SDHC memory cards up to 32GB, which extends your recording time by 16 hours. On top of that, the pedal’s upgraded high-definition, low-noise, low-distortion AD/DA conversion ensures that your loops will sound better than ever.

Tons of creativity-enhancing features

Like its forerunners, the JamMan Solo HD is geared toward making music creation easier. You can fine-tune your performances with autorecord sensing, autoquantization, adjustable bpms and tap tempo, and three selectable stop modes. Thanks to 10 high-quality drum tracks performed by King Crimson’s Pat Mastelotto, you’ll have no trouble finding your groove. You also get an auxiliary input, which lets you import music directly from an external media player. Finally, the JamMan Solo HD’s onboard USB connectivity lets you transfer loops to and from your computer using DigiTech’s free JamManager HD librarian software.

Good Tool
Love this thing.. I use this thing to load backing tracks off youtube for songs I'm trying to learn. Specifically guitar solos. This makes it a lot easier and faster to learn them. I just loop the part where the solo kicks in and I play along over and over till I nail it.
Pre-recorded drum tracks
P.S. What was not made clear to me is that the 15 pre-recorded drum tracks occupy the first 15 loop slots, and their volume is controlled by the loop level, not the rhythm level knob.
The best looper I found
Digitech hit it out of the park with the Solo HD: small footprint, packed with features, thoughtfully designed, endless possibilities. I use a looper in a very particular way that requires the ability to change loops hands-free, and with the extra foot switch it does the perfectly. Plus, having 200 available loop locations is great (and you can expand this with a memory card). I've owned several loopers, and researched them all, and for me this is the best.

If you like simple this isn’t it
This is a looper pedal… hook it up press the pedal and start a loop right……wrong
Fresh out of box if you press the pedal to record a loop it starts to play back the cheesiest drum beat very loud. Turning down rhythm volume does not help
Apparently this pedal has to be configured Or setup out of box and there is no part of manual that even gives a clue .
I tried turning rhythm off in playback settings with no resolution . The box would be a great place to put a quick start tutorial but no such puppy
Obviously the two of us are not a match. I only use the looper for some practice over chord changes
I'll be throwing it to Reverb and go swimming with a Ditto X2
Music background: Bass, piano , guitar , woodwinds , ensemble and recording
