Fender American Series Fretless Jazz Bass

It features a rounded alder body with a graphite reinforced maple, modern "C" Shape neck, a 9.5" radius rosewood fingerboard with rolled edges, and topped off the a satin polyurethane finish. The electronics of the J-bass Fretless are something special too. It boasts two American Jazz Bass single-coil pickups (mid & bridge) along with two volume controls, one tone control. Chrome hardware and a string-through-body bridge complete this beauty.

Fender Guitars
You could easily make the case that Fender electric guitars were responsible - at least in great part - for the birth of modern rock 'n' roll.
