Transform Your Waves Plug-ins into Immersive Processors
For many mix engineers, one of the more challenging aspects of Dolby Atmos is the lack of a master bus, which makes it difficult to achieve the cohesive, glued-together quality inherent in stereo mixes. Waves Immersive Wrapper solves this dilemma, enabling you to deploy any mono Waves plug-in as an immersive processor. Developed in cooperation with renowned audio engineers Hans-Martin Buff and Yaron Fuchs, this game-changing plug-in supports all track types, from mono to 9.1.6 and everything in between, plus flexible channel linking and global parameter control. Moreover, mix-wide dynamics processing is at your fingertips, thanks to comprehensive shared internal sidechaining. With Immersive Wrapper in your toolbox, you'll be able to implement the vast back catalog of Waves plug-ins when you're working in Dolby Atmos and other immersive formats.

Channel-spanning processing for immersive mixes
We're at the forefront of immersive audio production here at Sweetwater, so much so that we have two premium Dolby Atmos-equipped mix rooms as part of our in-house studio complex. That said, immersive formats present unique challenges. For example, since these mixes comprise individual beds and objects rather than channels, they lack a master bus, meaning that you can't slap a compressor across your entire mix to glue it together. Immersive Wrapper dodges this issue by instantiating an individual mono Waves plug-in across all the beds and objects in your immersive mix in a multi-mono configuration. Moreover, all these mono instances are control-linked, enabling you to adjust their parameters globally as though they were a single plug-in. However, you can link and unlink specific groups, such as surround or tops. Furthermore, you're able to maintain each instance's relative control positions, putting you firmly in the driver's seat. Finally, you can share internal sidechains across all your beds and objects, which allows you to deploy any sidechain-capable dynamics plug-in as a bus compressor.
