This is reliable, aesthetically pleasing, and high-quality. It's given me several years of reliable service and I'd recommend it again in a heartbeat! It does have a tendency to pick up all noises, so if you live near a noisy street, you might get background sounds, but otherwise it's stellar. In a studio environment you can't go wrong with this!

Great microphone and works seamlessly on all my apple devices. Perfect for on the go. Also Sweetwater, they were very sweet when working with me and made shipping dummy proof, thanks for that you're awesome.

I needed a USB microphone that could give me great sound quality AND be able to run off the power supplied by my iphone without an adapter and extra battery to lug around. The Earthworks Icon USB mic covers both splendidly but it was when I started editing my audio tracks that I was amazed at the clarity and lack of noise this thing produced. It sounds as good or better that the condenser mic setup in my studio. I don't know how they did it but I'm glad they did. It simply works! Thanks to Earthworks and Sweetwater!

…because my girlfriend grabbed the first one I got for her podcast. For years, I have used only the various Yeti mics for USB audio. And they have never let me down. Until I heard the Icon. How good is the Icon? Let's just say that my church recenty received a donation of several perfectly excellent Yetis.

This is a major step up from my old Yeti. Sound quality and build quality are amazing. A shiny object that is worth it! I use it for podcasting and videos.
