MADI option
With the addition of two optional dual optical or dual coaxial extension cards, you can partially replace the network audio channels with MADI signals. This makes it possible to integrate 4 x 4 MADI I/O plus up to 256 x 256 network audio channels within a single audio interface.
Flexible monitoring and more
A 1/4-inch stereo headphone jack facilitates the monitoring of any signal from the computer, the network, or the optional MADI inputs. Plus, you can add stereo AES3 digital I/O and MIDI to the AoX-D via a breakout cable, further expanding the card’s impressive versatility.
TotalMix mixing and routing
You can easily manage the vast potential channel counts of the RME Dante HDSPe AoX-D using either a driver dialogue or web interface. First, adjust the network versus the optional MADI channel count, then pre-select which inputs are routed to the 256-channel TotalMix engine. The remaining 256 channels are passed straight through. TotalMix offers presets, layouts, loopback, sub-mixes, and much more. All 512 channels are visible to your DAW for recording.
