The Epitome of Transparent Overdrive
Designed in collaboration with renowned guitarist Joey Landreth, the Jackson Audio Golden Boy Mini packs a salmagundi of smooth, blues-breaking tones into a shrunken-down, pedalboard-ready stompbox. This pedal delivers everything a player could ask for in a transparent overdrive, yielding expressive grit with loads of harmonic detail and truckloads of headroom. The Golden Boy Mini's top-panel knobs — Volume, Gain, and a 3-band EQ — are so intuitive they barely merit clarification. That said, you also get switchable asymmetrical or LED clipping for added sonic flexibility. Housed in a super-rugged casing, the Jackson Audio Golden Boy Mini may be the last transparent overdrive pedal you ever need.

Intuitive top-panel controls
If you're familiar with overdrive pedals, you can dial in the Golden Boy Mini the second you plug it in for the first time. Its Volume knob ranges from whisper-quiet to amp-spanking loud, while its Gain knob takes you from subtle dirt to soaring harmonics. The guitarists here at Sweetwater appreciate the generous level of tone shaping afforded by the Golden Boy Mini's 3-band Baxandall-style EQ. Switchable asymmetrical/LED clipping rounds out this ultra-versatile stompbox.
